Thomas Pringle TD - Get Involved Donegal

As your Independent TD, I am committed to tackling our community’s most pressing challenges. It is essential to support carers, protect rural jobs, invest in education and deliver justice for those impacted by defective blocks. No one should be left behind because of policies that only benefit a select few.

  • Defective Blocks Crisis: I will continue to fight for justice and fair compensation for all homeowners affected by defective blocks.
  • Housing Crisis: I am committed to making housing secure and affordable for everyone in Donegal.
  • Healthcare System: We need to solve the challenges in healthcare by hiring more staff and improving services.
  • Fishing Rights: I will stand up for fair quotas and protect Irish fishing rights, ensuring our fishermen are treated fairly.
  • Mental Health Services: Increased funding and better access to mental health services are urgently needed to support our community’s well-being.
  • Support for Carers: Carers deserve better support, including increased respite, higher allowances and pension schemes. I will make sure they get it.
  • Persons with Disabilities: We must take a human rights approach, establish a permanent cost of disability payment and work directly with disability organisations to ensure continuous support.
  • Rural Livelihoods: Protecting and investing in farming, fishing and rural development is crucial for Donegal’s future.
  • Education: I will push for investment in schools, more teachers, SNA’s and accessible education for all.
  • An Equitable Society: I am dedicated to ensuring that no one is left behind by policies that prioritise profits over people.
