Pringle, Flynn welcome cross-party support in seeking justice in Noah Donohoe case

Independent TD for Donegal, Thomas Pringle, and independent Senator Eileen Flynn have welcomed the cross-party support for a briefing they hosted with the mother and aunt of Noah Donohoe and the campaign to seek justice for Noah.
Noah’s family are still searching for answers in the death of the 14-year-old boy who went missing in Belfast on June 21st, 2020. Six days later his body was found in a storm drain.
Deputy Pringle, Senator Flynn, and TD Joan Collins hosted a briefing last week for Oireachtas members with Noah’s mother, Fiona Donohoe, and aunt, Niamh Donohoe. They are also sending a letter to the Taoiseach, asking him to meet with the two women.
Deputy Pringle, who also raised the issue in the Dáil this week and earlier this year, said: “There are clear questions around the police investigation into the tragic and untimely death of Noah Donohoe last June.”
He said: “When Noah’s mother put out a public call for people with phone evidence to come forward, they did. A grieving family should not have to conduct an investigation into a loved one’s death. It is completely unacceptable to think that this family is fighting for answers and justice.”
Senator Flynn said: “The family have been trying to raise public awareness of their campaign in the Republic as well. They have been tireless in their efforts to find answers in this tragic case. And they are grateful to the members of the public who have offered their support and assistance, but they need help and support in getting answers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland.”
Deputy Pringle and Senator Flynn will organise a further meeting in the coming weeks to set up a cross-party committee to pursue justice for Noah.
