Pringle welcomes news of work to begin at Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí

Independent TD for Donegal, Thomas Pringle, has welcomed the news that work is to begin on a new building for Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí in Donegal town in the coming weeks.
Deputy Pringle said: “The is very good news for Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí students and teachers and the larger school community, who have been waiting so long for this and working so hard to make sure it happened.
“I want to credit the school community: When the Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí was one of the school building projects put on hold earlier this year, the school community came out to protest the decision and made their voices heard.
“Now that the decision to pause the projects has been reversed, and the work will begin,” he said.
It was confirmed today that a contractor has been appointed, and work is to begin onsite at the end of the month.
