Pringle welcomes confirmation that 49 Donegal pharmacies have booster Covid vaccine
- Updated: 7th December 2021
Independent TD for Donegal, Thomas Pringle, said he has received confirmation from the HSE that 49 Donegal pharmacies ordered and received booster Covid vaccines in the last two weeks.
The deputy had contacted the HSE on the matter in early November, saying it was important to have pharmacies involved in the roll-out of the Covid booster vaccination.
Deputy Pringle said: “I had advocated for the booster roll-out to include pharmacies. It wasn’t practical in a county the size of Donegal to have the roll-out focused on a single centre, and our pharmacies were ready and able to take on the project.”
