Pringle urges public to support local shops and jobs by shopping local
Independent TD for Donegal, Thomas Pringle, is urging the public to support local businesses and local jobs by shopping local during the coming coronavirus restrictions.
Deputy Pringle said: “Many businesses in Donegal may have their doors closed, but they are still doing business and filling orders online. Now more than ever it is important to support our local businesses.
“Instead of giving money to Amazon, a corporate giant with no connection to our towns and villages, spend at the local shops and services that keep our Donegal communities alive. The Letterkenny Chamber is getting out this important message: Shop Local. Stay Local.
“I would encourage people to visit the websites or social media sites of their local shops to find out how they can shop online. Let’s support local businesses and local jobs during this difficult time,” Deputy Pringle said.
